Platonic love, the term interpreted as non-sexual friendly relationship these days, is one of the most misinterpreted term of all time. Plato's idea of the perfect love is not at all just between friends, although it can be non-sexual. In Plato's original theory, the perfect 'platonic' love is pure, emotional and spiritual. When two are 'platonically' in love, they shouldn't just be attracted by physical appearances. They would have fallen in love emotionally and spiritually.
